About the Artist

Donna Stewart is a self-taught artist who currently lives and works in Seattle, WA. Living most of her life in Seattle, she found a deep connection here. Donna began painting in 2001 while she was living in Nashville, TN.

"The first rule I learned when beginning to paint is there are no rules."

"I enjoy the play of color, texture, emotion and movement in paint. Using references of the human body, the movement of water and the feeling I get when standing still, I am able to express myself."
